Do you ever have mornings where you wake up starving, but there is pretty much nothing to eat in your house? Well that’s how this lovely smoothie came to be. You already know I’m totally obsessed with smoothies. I typically have a green smoothie for breakfast, but there were no greens in the house this day thus the mango flax smoothie was born.
This smoothie only needs 4 simple ingredients. Vanilla almond milk + frozen mangos + flaxseed meal + bananas. In case you haven’t noticed I love to bananas in pretty much anything. This is really the perfect breakfast, snack, or dessert. I could totally see drinking this poolside on a scorching day. Thankfully summer in Nashville has been pretty milld so far (thank goodness!).
- 1 cup frozen mangos
- 1 banana
- 1 cup almond milk (I used vanilla)
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add extra milk if needed to thin out smoothie.
